I’m Christine, therapist and mindfulness facilitator.

It’s common to feel overwhelmed these days. As a deep listener and compassionate guide, I help you see what you’re struggling with and teach you the necessary skills to live with greater ease.

I Care Because I Get It

I have always been curious about why people do what they do. This naturally led me to a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology and Childhood and Family Relations (2005) and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (2007).

Then came marriage, four military postings in five years, two children in between, and hundreds of clients in pain who needed me.  I can do it all, right?

Like many healthcare professionals, women, and high functioning people, I gave to everyone but myself. Burnout on top of a significant loss led me to slow down, sharpen my intuition, and simplify my life.

Now my focus is more joy and creativity and less hustle. I do the work I invite my clients to do. Exercise, yoga, meditation, breathwork, reiki, forest walks, beach days, and family and lifelong friends help to nourish and balance me.

I have 17 years of clinical therapy experience and training in:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for anxiety, depression, and insomnia

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

  • Mindful Self-Compassion

  • Motivational Interviewing

  • Occupational Performance Coaching

  • Trauma-Informed Care

Keep starting again.

If you’re ready to take steps toward inner peace, I’d be honoured to guide you.
